Habitat for Humanity's HopeBuilders


HopeBuilders are outstanding Habitat partners who give a monthly gift to help Habitat for Humanity build simple, decent, affordable homes with families in need.

HopeBuilders provide a stable and reliable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead and help as many families in need as we possibly can.

Signing up is easy. Monthly donations can be made automatically through your credit card or from your checking account, or you can receive monthly statements through the mail.

Carpenter's Club


Are you looking for a hassle-free way to make an impact on your community? The Carpenter's Club is your answer! You can help by making a monetary contribution in celebration of each house constructed by Habitat for Humanity of Oshkosh.

This year's goal for the Carpenter's Club is to increase the funds raised to $10,000 per house that we build!

Donate Appreciated Stock


Making a charitable gift in the form of long-term appreciated securities (stock) generally gives you two important tax advantages:

  • You are entitled to a charitable income tax deduction based on the fair market value (not the cost basis) of the securities, provided they have been owned for more than 12 months.
  • You can avoid the capital gain tax that would be realized if you had sold the appreciated securities.
The value of your gift is the average of the published high and low price on the day the securities are delivered to the Oshkosh Habitat for Humanity. If securities have depreciated in value, they should not be donated directly. It is to your advantage to sell the securities.
