Construction Opportunities

Workdays start at 9am and can last until 3pm. No special skills are required, though we'll take them if you have them! You can bring tools if you want, but we'll have plenty on site. Experienced site supervisors will be on site to help train any volunteer.

    Volunteer positions include:
    • Crew Member - Works under the direction of the project manager and crew leader.  They assist with construction tasks as assigned for that particular workday.
    • Crew leaders -Work under the direction of the project manager with small groups of general crew member volunteers to teach and lead them in construction tasks for that given workday.
    • Site host- A less physical option to volunteering on our build site. General duties include greeting and registering volunteers as they arrive, ensuring all paperwork is completed, preparing and serving beverages, assisting with meal service, running errands, organizing tools & equipment as needed, keeping the site clean and safe, assisting with first aid and emergencies and necessary other tasks.
    • Lunch providers -will simply be contributing lunch to everyone on site for that day.

*All volunteers must register before volunteering. To sign up for a day, contact Beka at (920) 235-3535 or rsmith@habitatoshkosh.org
