Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity will help 164 families achieve the dream of homeownership in 2011
Thanks to nearly 450,000 members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and local Lutheran congregations joining forces with Habitat for Humanity affiliates, Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity has helped more than 2,500 families in the U.S. and around the world to achieve the dream of homeownership.
Thrivent Financial announces ongoing commitment in 2011
Thrivent Financial has announced that it will continue to support Thrivent Builds with a $10.4 million commitment in 2011 – which means its total commitment over six years will surpass $150 million! This generous support will result in the construction of an additional 164 homes in 33 states. Habitat for Humanity of Oshkosh has been awarded $50,056 to build 1 home with Thrivent Builds because of that 2011 commitment.
