Position Title: ReStore Assistant Manager - Wautoma ReStore
The ReStore Assistant Manager of Habitat for Humanity of Oshkosh (working in partnership with and Habitat for Humanity serving Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara counties) is responsible for assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated and assigned by the ReStore Regional Manager with focus on the donation process and sales floor operations. This role will also assist with the hiring, training and development of store associates and volunteers as delegated by the ReStore Regional Manager.
Responsibilities:

Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the ReStore Regional Manager

Able to perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the ReStore Regional Manager

Assist the ReStore Regional Manager in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash
-
Adhere to all policies and procedures including safety guidelines
-
Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates and supervisors
-
Complete orientation, training and onboarding of new volunteer and Associates
-
Maintain all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards to include recovery
-
When the ReStore Regional Manager is not on the premises, direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly Associates
-
Ensure proper staffing coverage on a daily basis

Maintain accurate inventory of purchased products and current stock on sales floor

Preform cashiering activities to provide coverage during breaks, lunches and busy times
-
Promotional effectiveness of store displays
-
Assist in the management of sales effectiveness

Coordinate appropriate signage utilized in the store
-
Create and maintain reports for committee and board meetings monthly
-
Assist with merchandising and maintaining the checkout area to maximize impulse sales

Maintain sales per square foot reports
-
Maintain all inventory levels on sales floor and back stock
Schedule:
Part Time (25-30 hours per week)
Various days/week, this position requires a Saturday shift

ReStore Regional Manager
Position Title: ReStore Associate - Wautoma ReStore
The ReStore Associate of Habitat for Humanity (working in partnership with Habitat for Humanity serving Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara counties) is responsible for ensuring that all sales and donation receiving activities run smoothly and efficiently by working alongside volunteers, that the ReStore is providing superior customer service, and that the ReStore is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with volunteers in all areas of the store.

Ensure quality customer and donor relations, and address comments and grievances in a timely and professional manner.

Oversee and maintain daily and weekly volunteer task assignments.

Provide training and supervision of volunteers in a positive and affirming manner.
-
Display merchandise and utilize store signage in a way that maximizes sales, while ensuring all materials are priced accurately on the sales floor.

Assist with training volunteers to adhere to the policies and procedure of the ReStore.

Ensure the proper evaluation of the condition/acceptability of incoming donations.
-
Coordinate the flow of incoming materials to the store.
-
Create tags and stickers in accordance with the pricing guidelines set by Merchandising Coordinator.

Ensure that price audits are conducted on a routine basis, and that "stale" items are re-priced or removed.

Monitor promotions and sales in accordance with ReStore policy.

Continually improve the overall appearance of the ReStore and store operations to maximize efficiency.

Ensure that all areas of the store and surrounding areas are clean and safe
-
Ensure that all safety procedures are adhered to, and that the safest possible environment for customers, donors, and personnel.

Performs all necessary duties within the different areas of the ReStore.

Complete opening and closing duties as assigned by Regional Manager or Assistant Manager.

Operate cash register to process cash, credit card and gift certificate purchases.
-
Assist with unloading ReStore truck
-
Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
Schedule:
Part Time (20-25 hours per week), within ReStore hours. This position requires a Saturday shift.
Required Skills and Experience:

Experience working with volunteers is critical
-
Retail experience is preferred
-
Strong interpersonal skills with a pleasant, professional, and caring personality

Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the Habitat mission

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask with changing priorities

Knowledge of building materials is a plus

Basic computer knowledge required
